Pre-admission
Once the indication for the surgery procedure has been confirmed, the Secretariat contacts the patients to perform the specific pre-surgery examinations.
Ordinary Hospital Admission, Day Hospital and Day Surgery with National Health System (NHS)
It is possible to show up at the dedicated office from Monday to Friday at 7.00 – 15.00 in the time agreed with the secretarial staff.
It is necessary to bring:
- a regional medical prescription by your doctor
- ID card
- your Regional health card.
For citizens not resident in Italy:
- TEAM card, if EU citizens
if no-EU citizens, it is necessary to contact the ATS relevant Offices.
Please note that:
- All costs arising from the services provided are borne by the SSN and you will be assisted by a doctor of the team of the Operating Unit of reference
- On the day of discharge the room must be left by 10.00.
Ordinary Hospital Admission, Day Hospital and Day Surgery for Private and Contracted Patients
It is possible to show up at the dedicated office from Monday to Friday at 7.00 – 17.00 in the time agreed with the secretarial staff.
It is necessary to bring:
- registration paper with organizations affiliated with Humanitas San Pio X (if registered)
Please note that:
- you can choose your GP
- on the day of discharge the room must be left by 10.00.
